Recruiter/Admissions Counselor-Middle TN & KY

The following are essential tasks and qualifications the Recruiter/Admissions Counselor agrees to accept as a condition of employment. Job responsibilities are not limited to the items listed below.

Make contact with prospective students and inform them about program offerings
Recruit students for enrollment in all College programs
Advise and assist students in the enrollment process, via telephone, e-mail, and/or in person
Plan, coordinate, conduct and/or assist with orientations, information sessions, conferences, briefings and other public venues
Networking functions as assigned
Successfully meet assigned goals and objectives
Some day and overnight travel is required
Other duties as assigned

Education: High school diploma or GED 
Experience: Proven experience in customer service, sales, marketing or other equivalent type role. Experience in law enforcement, fire fighting, corrections, military, EMT/Paramedic, and/or emergency communications preferred.
Skills: Excellent communication skills, both oral and written; Ability to speak in public; Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, the internet, and telecommunications; Ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and to document activities. Must be able to work independently, possess advanced time management skills and be accountable with minimal supervision to complete all required tasks. 
Other: Must have clear background check, reliable transportation, and the ability to pay some travel expenses up front to be reimbursed at a later date.
