Instructor/Assist Prof of English
The Bethel University English Department is pleased to announce a non-tenure stream, full-time position for an Instructor/Assistant Professor of English to begin August 1, 2014. Applicants should hold a Masters or Ph.D. in English with an emphasis in composition. Specialization is open and applicants specializing in British Literature and American Literature are also welcome to apply. The position is a 9-month contract with a 4/4 teaching load. The successful candidate will be required to teach four sections (12 hours) of ENG 010 Basic Writing, ENG 101 Expository Writing, and ENG 111 Writing About Literature. College teaching experience is desirable and a commitment to excellence in instruction and in student mentoring.
