Full Time, Non-Tenure Track Faculty Position in Psychology

Job Summary:  Bethel University is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Psychology. 

Job Responsibilities:  This is a nine month academic position with a teaching load of 12 hours per semester (four courses with three preparations) and student academic advising responsibilities.  Summer teaching is available. Candidate should be prepared to offer courses in undergraduate introductory courses and upper level courses in areas of expertise with consideration for the development of quality online courses.  Faculty members are also expected to participate in department and university governance activities as well as other university events. 

Minimum Qualifications:  Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Psychology, preferably with a background in cognitive or biological psychology.   The preferred candidate will also demonstrate a commitment to quality teaching, student-centered interactions, collegiality, and a commitment to a liberal arts educational experience.
