Full Time, Non-Tenure Track Faculty Position in Social Work

Job Summary:  Bethel University is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Social Work.
 
Job Responsibilities:  This is a nine month academic position with a teaching load of 12 hours per semester (four courses with three preparations) and student academic advising responsibilities. The successful candidate will take a lead role in the development of a CSWE accredited B.S.W. program and serve as the Program Director, reporting to the Chief Administrator of the Program.  Upon engagement in the accreditation process, the course load of the Program Director will be reduced by 25%.  Summer teaching is available.  Faculty members are also expected to participate in department and university governance activities as well as other university events.

Minimum Qualifications:  Applicants must have a D.S.W. or Ph.D. in Social Work and at least two years of practice experience at the B.S.W. or M.S.W. level that meets CSWE standards. Review of applications will begin immediately, teaching responsibilities will begin August, 2014.
