Tests We Currently Administer
CLEP is a computer-based exam that allows individuals to earn college credit by demonstrating prior knowledge of a subject. The 90 minute exams are composed of multiple-choice questions. Official score reports are available immediately after the test.
DSST Get College Credit exams (formally known as DANTES) are college subject exams that you can take to earn college credit for knowledge you acquired outside of a traditional classroom. There are 38 subject exams from which to select in disciplines such as Business, Humanities, Mathematics, Social Sciences and more.
The ATI TEAS Test (Test of Essential Academic Skills) is a multiple choice exam that measures entry level skills and abilities of nursing program applicants.
This exam is typically given at the beginning of the spring semester.
|PPST||Praxis I Pre-Professional Skills Tests or PSST (required for some students desiring admission to the Education program) -- This is a 4.5 hour exam.|
|Praxis II||Praxis II Subject Assessments are taken by individuals entering the teaching profession as part of the teacher licensing and certification process.|
|TOEFL||Test of English as a Foreign Language is a 4-hour exam that will be offered several times per year.|
|MAT||Millers Analogy Test is a 60-minute test primarily used for graduate school admissions.|
|Pearson VUE||Computer-based testing for certification and course assessments.|
|GED||General Education Development is a group of tests that when passed certifies that the test taker has an American high school academic skills.|
