A romantic and sentimental comedy set in London, An Ideal Husband delves into themes of love, passion, and betrayal among the aristocracy. Sir Robert Chiltern (Ryan McCrory) a brilliant politician and a perfect gentleman, is the ideal husband for the charming Lady Chiltern (Heather Voytek) They have a widely envied and seemingliy perfiect marriage until charming Mrs. Cheveley(Mallory Sellers)  appears with the intention of revealing a dark secret from Chiltern's past. When his world seems to be falling apart, Chiltern turns to his lifelong friend Lord Goring (Bryan Meande) the most eligible bachelor in town. Goring soon finds himself caught up in a web of lies, temptations, and secret liaisons. Furthermore, the persistent charms of Sir Robert's sister Mabel (Elena Spradlin) are becoming a serious threat to his much-cherished bachelorhood. The story unfolds using political intrigue and clever wit with a sweet and charming ending.
An Ideal Husbands cast includes Irene Ryan Scholarship Nominees Vincent Pupo and Mallory Sellers. The Irene Ryan Scholarship Competition is a prestigious acting competition for The Kennedy Center  American College Theatre Festival .(The KCACTF conducts preliminary competitions throughout the United States with strict nomination qualifications for the annual competition.)
