Ebrary is a comprehensive subscription database of e-books and other authoritative materials that includes more than 37,000 titles in 16 key subject areas. Students will need to download the ebrary reader onto their computer in order to read the available items. There is a download tab on the main page of ebrary that you may click to download.

The Energy Citations Database provides free access to over 2.6 million science research citations with continued growth through regular updates. There are over 218,000 electronic documents, primarily from 1943 forward, available via the database. Citations and documents are made publicly available by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). ECD includes scientific and technical research results in disciplines of interest to DOE such as chemistry, physics, materials, environmental science, geology, engineering, mathematics, climatology, oceanography, computer science and related disciplines. Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center (InfoTrac) is a one-stop source for information on today's hottest social issues. Drawing on acclaimed series published by Greenhaven Press and other Gale imprints, OVRC features viewpoint articles, topic overviews, full-text magazine, academic journal, and newspaper articles, primary source documents, statistics, images and podcasts, and links to websites. New to the database are Lexile reading levels for periodicals and an integrated national and state curriculum standards search with content correlated to the standards.

SciFinder Scholar is the electronic version of Chemical Abstracts. Over 1600 chemistry journals are indexed cover-to-cover and 8,000+ journals are monitored. Records go back to 1907. SciFinder Scholar will connect you to the full text of the articles IF the Library subscribes to the journal. The database is updated daily.
