Academic Search Premier (EbscoHost) is a multi-disciplinary database that provides full text for more than 4,500 journals, including full text for more than 3,700 peer-reviewed titles. PDF backfiles to 1975 or further are available for well over one hundred journals, and searchable cited references are provided for more than 1,000 titles. 

ATLA Religion Database

ATLA Religion Database, from the American Theological Library Association, is one of the most important databases in the field.  It contains articles in biblical studies, world religions, church history, and religion in social issues.
Britannica Online includes the Encyclopaedia Britannica as well as Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary and Thesaurus, the Britannica Student Encyclopaedia, and the Britannica Book of the Year. It also provides an Internet directory to more than 300,000 sites selected by Britannica editors.  This is also filed under Encyclopaedia Britannica.
Ebrary is a comprehensive subscription database of e-books and other authoritative materials that includes more than 37,000 titles in 16 key subject areas. Students will need to download the ebrary reader onto their computer in order to read the available items. There is a download tab on the main page of ebrary that you may click to download.

Islamic Collection Metropolitan Museum of Art

JSTOR provides access to archived backfiles of journals in arts & sciences, language & literature, general science, ecology & botany, and music. The full-text of journals is provided for each title beginning with Volume 1. Recent volumes may or may not be included, depending on the agreement between JSTOR and the publishers. Some titles may be from 2 to 5 years behind current publishing. Journals may be browsed or searched.

Points of View (Ebsco) is a full-text database designed to provide students with a series of essays that present multiple sides of 250 current issues. Similar to the Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center.
Project Gutenberg Project Gutenberg is a collection of free digitized books whose copyright has expired.  It contains more than 100,000 online books, which can be read on your screen or downloaded to an ebook reader.

Project Muse provides full-text access to current content from scholarly journals in the humanities and social sciences.
Religion & Philosophy Database (InfoTrac) has articles from more than 250 magazines and journals on religion, philosophy, archaeology, and anthropology, and covers the impact of religion on culture. Many articles are full-text.

World Book Encyclopedia World Book Online provides online access to the popular encyclopedia.
The World Factbook is produced by the US Central Intelligence Agency and provides information on the history, people, government, economy, geography, communications, transportation, military, and transnational issues for 266 world entities. The Reference tab includes: maps of the major world regions, as well as flags of the world, a physical map of the world, a political map of the world, and a standard time zones of the world map.
