Athletic Training Education

- The College of Health Science (CHS) very excited about this new major joining the already established and respected programs of Nursing (BSN) and Physician Assistant (MSPAS). The brand new state-of-the-art athletic training room located in the Vera Low Student Center provides a wonderful environment for students in the program to hone their skills. The Athletic Training Education Program** at Bethel is a comprehensive curriculum designed to culminate with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Athletic Training. Utilizing lecture, laboratory and clinical experiences students will gain a thorough understanding of the profession of athletic training. Dedicated professionals such as certified athletic trainers, physicians, nurses, physician assistants and other allied health care professionals will prepare and guide students for a successful career in a highly competitive field.
- **The Athletic Training Education Program (ATEP) at Bethel University is in its implementation phase and expects to complete and submit its Self-Study to the Commission on the Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) in the fall of 2014 with a site visit planned in the spring of 2015. At this time the ATEP is not accredited by CAATE.
