"A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels” (Proverbs 1:5).
When looking into universities, I know you are faced with many options. Each of you will have different needs and desires for your education and your college life, but I know you will find that Bethel has something for everyone. As an alumnus, I know the options firsthand—from the student life activities to the organizations/clubs to sports (school teams and intramural) to people who will become lifelong friends.
I found that every professor knew me by name and genuinely cared about my goals and my success. I made friendships for life and found that perfect balance between the social and academic communities.
God has played a key role in bringing me back to Bethel University where I am now in a position to help you and others like you get the education you need for the success you want. I am thankful for and excited about the opportunities before all of us!
Barbara de Angelis says, “No matter what age you are, or what your circumstances might be, you are special, and you still have something unique to offer. Your life, because of who you are, has meaning.” This statement holds true at Bethel University, and I hope you give us the chance to make you feel at home with a first-rate education in our small-town atmosphere. Welcome to Bethel University!
I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13)
Senior Enrollment Counselor
Welcome to the Bethel University website! My name is Mitchell Brown and I am glad to serve as an Enrollment Recruiter. Bethel has been an important part of my life for as long as I can remember. All four of my grandparents, both of my parents and 14 other members of my family attended Bethel. When my family lived in McKenzie, I was a ball boy at the football games and I knew then that I wanted to go to Bethel College (now University). As a senior in high school, my parents wanted me to apply to at least one other school, but I only applied to Bethel. I am a lifelong Cumberland Presbyterian and am proud that Bethel is our school.
McKenzie has been my home for the last four years while I earned my Bachelor’s Degree and toured with the Renaissance Choir and Vocal Authority. I love my Bethel family and look forward to welcoming you so that Bethel University can become your home as well. If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Hello, and welcome to the Bethel University website! My name is Jesse Turner, and I am an enrollment counselor. I look forward to helping you with any questions that you could have in getting started. Please continue to check out our website and look at our number of clubs/organizations that can not only be a wonderful growing experience but could also offer scholarships!
