"A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels” (Proverbs 1:5).

When looking into universities, I know you are faced with many options. Each of you will have different needs and desires for your education and your college life, but I know you will find that Bethel has something for everyone. As an alumnus, I know the options firsthand—from the student life activities to the organizations/clubs to sports (school teams and intramural) to people who will become lifelong friends.

I found that every professor knew me by name and genuinely cared about my goals and my success. I made friendships for life and found that perfect balance between the social and academic communities.

God has played a key role in bringing me back to Bethel University where I am now in a position to help you and others like you get the education you need for the success you want. I am thankful for and excited about the opportunities before all of us!

Barbara de Angelis says, “No matter what age you are, or what your circumstances might be, you are special, and you still have something unique to offer. Your life, because of who you are, has meaning.” This statement holds true at Bethel University, and I hope you give us the chance to make you feel at home with a first-rate education in our small-town atmosphere. Welcome to Bethel University!

"I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13)

Hello!  My name is Mitchell Brown and I am glad to serve as an Enrollment Counselor. I work with all Cumberland Presbyterians and transfer students! Bethel has been an important part of my life for as long as I can remember. All four of my grandparents, both of my parents and 14 other members of my family attended Bethel. When my family lived in McKenzie, I was a ball boy at the football games and I knew then that I wanted to go to Bethel College (now University). As a senior at Memphis Central High School, my parents wanted me to apply to at least one other school, but I only applied to Bethel. I am a lifelong Cumberland Presbyterian and am proud that Bethel is our school.

McKenzie has been my home for the last several years. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in 2013 and toured with Renaissance's Choir and Vocal Authority. Let me know how I can help you become a part of our Bethel family. If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

"In Christ's family there can be no division into Jew and non-Jew, slave and free, male and female.  Among us you are all equal."  Galatians 3:28 (MSG)

I want to take this opportunity to welcome you to the Bethel University website!  My name is Brian Osborne and I am an Enrollment Counselor here at Bethel.  I want you to know that you are making a great decision to consider Bethel as your school of choice.  Bethel has so many different areas of what you could choose to study.  There are so many different activities on campus with: athletics, Greek Life, Renaissance and other organizations on campus.

All students that have chosen Bethel have viewed us as a big family.  The luxury of being in a close-knit community on campus is a gift that many schools cannot offer.  I want to strongly encourage to check out the website further and see how much Bethel can offer you in your want for a higher education.  If you have any questions, do not hesitate to call me at my office phone or email me at my address below.

Hello, I am Jared Williams, and I serve as an Enrollment Counselor at Bethel University. I am from Memphis, Tennessee and a recent graduate of Bethel University. I would like to share a few things about myself with you and tell you why you should choose Bethel University. Whether it was serving as a student ambassador giving campus tours and telling others about Bethel, or serving as the Student Government President, I have truly enjoyed the service I was able to give to potential students and their parents. My love for Bethel University is one of the main reasons why I wanted to work for Bethel. I would love to have the chance to tell you about our amazing scholarships and exciting programs that can offer a bright future for students. I have seen how much this institution has changed and molded me to become a better person. As an Enrollment Counselor, let me share with you how you can experience many of the things I did as well. I love to help people, I love to laugh and I love Bethel University.‚Äč

"Similarly, encourage the young men to be self-controlled. In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show intergrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing to say about us.” (Titus 2:6-8)
