A Gift to Bethel in Honor of Someone

Be sure to include a note with the following information when making a gift to Bethel in honor of a person or an organization.

  1. Name of person(s) or organization being honored.
  2. Name and address of individual(s) or organization being honored.
  3. Your (the principle donor) telephone number, in case there are any questions.
  4. If known, the fund or program to which you would like the contribution designated.

All gifts made in honor are recognized in Bethel’s Annual Report. Also, a card will be sent to the person(s) or organization you have recognized.
A Gift to Bethel in Memory of Someone

Be sure to include a note with the following information when making a gift to Bethel in memory of someone.

  1. Name of the deceased and date of death (if known).
  2. Name and address of surviving widow, widower, or family member.
  3. Your (the principal donor) telephone number, in case there are any questions.
  4. If known, fund or program to which you would like the contribution designated.

Gift Naming Opportunities As Bethel continues to grow and prosper, there are any number of gift naming opportunities. Whether it be a building, a classroom, a sports facility or even simply a brick paver in Bethel’s Alumni Garden, you can justly honor someone who significantly influenced the Bethel Community or someone who was influenced. Either way, your choice to embark on a gift naming opportunity will provide a legacy of history for future generations of students and faculty, and equally important, you’ll provide ongoing funding for Bethel to continue its mission and work! 
Endowed Scholarships An endowed scholarship generates earnings year after year, ensuring that the ongoing financial support of the scholarship will be sustained at Bethel. Endowed funds offer an everlasting and tribute to those for which they are named. In order to establish an endowed scholarship, a minimal gift of $10,000 is needed. Please contact the Office of Development at 731-352-4044 or at 731-410-3023 or mccartneyk@bethelu.edu if you are interested in establishing an endowed scholarship.
