Young Alumni Achievement Award

 

 

2012 Winner: Ben Helson, a 2009 Bethel graduate, is the guitarist for bluegrass sensations Rhonda Vincent and the Rage. Helson has played guitar for the Larry Stephenson Band, and he was a member of the highly esteemed Kentucky Thunder, led by 13-time Grammy award winner Ricky Skaggs.

Helson is finishing his fourth year of singing and playing the guitar with Rhonda Vincent and the Rage. He travels over 200 days a year. When he is home, he is heavily involved with his church, Grace Center. Helson and his wife, Danielle, are recent graduates of his church’s school of ministry. Helson is also Director of the Renaissance Bluegrass Band.
