Bethel University is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Education.
Job Responsibilities: This is a nine-month academic position with a teaching load of 12 hours per semester and student academic advising responsibilities. Summer teaching is available. Candidate should be prepared to offer undergraduate and graduate courses in areas of expertise, both on campus and online. Faculty members are also expected to participate in department and university activities and serve on committees as needed.
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must have 1) a Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Education, with a background in Elementary education as graduate coursework and teaching experience; 2) at least three years of teaching experience in K-12 setting; 3) expertise in teaching reading is preferred but not required. The candidate will also demonstrate a commitment to quality teaching, student-centered interactions, and collegiality as demonstrated through servant leadership.
