Under the general direction of the Athletic Director the Head Tennis Coach administers the entire scope of the tennis program.  The coach's primary responsibility will be  instructing the  student-athlete, teaching various athletic methods of success, as well as training them in the proper style. Furthermore, the coach will directly educate the student-athlete on how to best succeed in their chosen athletic endeavor. In short the coach will be expected to instruct student-athletes how to succeed in sport and in life through techniques demonstrated, modeled, and shown in practice as well as in the classroom and in life.  Other responsibilities are recruitment of qualified student-athletes; coordinating team travel; maintaining equipment and facilities; and implementing and maintaining necessary budget limitations, inventory, coordination, management of staff and development of the tennis program.  Bachelor’s Degree with related work experience in coaching tennis is required.
