The mission of the intramural program of Bethel University is to provide a fun, safe environment for the participation of sports for students, faculty, and staff. The philosophy of the program holds that athletic competition is of physical, social, and recreational value to the participants.
The goal is to enhance the mind, body, and spirit of all participants by promoting enthusiasm, leadership and good sportsmanship.
There are no fees to participate in Intramural Sports at Bethel University. This program is free to all students, faculty/staff, and graduate students.
All participants are required to have a Bethel University ID Card in order to participate in Bethel University Intramurals. Bethel University wants to provide the best opportunity for our students to participate. Players who are ineligible to participate put the program, Bethel University, and the players at risk. Ineligible players also take away the opportunity for an eligible player to participate.
Before each game players must show their BU ID Card in order to sign in. Players will not be allowed to play in that game unless they sign in and they must show their card in order to sign in.
There will be a registration area set up at each venue where players must sign in before they play.
Intramural Sports will be every Monday and Thursday this year from 8 PM-11 PM. In order to participate, you have to sign up for games on the IMLeagues App for Apple and Android or on the IMLeagues Website. When you register your team you will be able to sign the waiver, view the games for the semester, and more! Please contact Damani Taylor (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you have any questions!
Free Play will be in Baker Gym from Noon-4:00 PM every Saturday and Sunday from 8 PM-11 PM for the semester (unless other scheduled University events are taking place). You must bring your Student ID to participate. For more information contact Damani Taylor (email@example.com).
