“One Scarred Hand”

So...just putting out there how AWESOME and AMAZING Christ is!!!! I know all of you know this ... I just know that sometimes I need a reminder of what miraculous works He has done and is doing in my life and also what He CAN do in my life if I let go and let Him! But anyway, that’s the point of my note today ... that God can fix it all and how true and amazing that is ... what brought all of this to my mind was not only that He is doing awesome things in my life right now but ... I was told to listen to a song the other day called “One Scarred Hand” and so while we listened to it I looked up the lyrics so I could follow along!! ... Well I can’t remember the whole story behind it but I do know that a woman wrote it about what she went through when her son passed away ... she was broken, couldn’t hold herself up and the only person that could was Christ!! I know that each of us in our daily lives have problems and situations we go through that make us feel broken and like we can’t move ... and no one can really help us and get our minds off of it except God ... He’s the only one!!! So here are the lyrics to the song:

“One Scarred Hand”

He is the fountain for a thirsty soul
He is the healer and so much more.
When my heart is broken by this world’s demands,
The pieces are mended through one scarred hand.

Chorus:
And when I can’t stand, I have to lean
And when I can’t see, I must believe
The Great Physician’s touch is a balm that can
Mend broken hearts with one scarred hand.

It’s a hand that holds this whole world in place.
It’s a hand that was scarred just to give me grace.
And to think a hand that holds the stars
Is small enough to mend one broken heart.

Chorus

The Great Physician’s touch is a balm than can
Mend broken hearts with one scarred hand.

Aren’t those lyrics just amazing and powerful!!!! There is a scripture I found to go along with it a little ... Psalm 147:3. “He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds!” ... also Psalm 33:18-22 “But the Lord watches over those who fear Him, those who rely on His unfailing love. He rescues them from death and keeps them alive in times of famine. We put our hope in the Lord. He is our help and our shield. In Him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in His holy name. Let your unfailing love
surround us, Lord, for our hope is in you alone!” I love you all! God bless.
