Dobbins Lectures

The Dobbins Lecture Series is an event examining the role of religion in education and society. It was established in 1984 to honor Dr. C. Ray Dobbins, a 1941 graduate of Bethel College, former moderator of the Cumberland Presbyterian General Assembly, and former editor of The Cumberland Presbyterian. Catherine and B.F. Buchanan, Dr. Dobbins' sister and brother-in-law, created the lectureship.
