Renaissance to Present "Some Enchanted Evening" Beginning This Thursday

The Renaissance Theatre production “Some Enchanted Evening: the Songs of Rodgers and Hammerstein” will be opening this weekend at the Bethel Performing Arts Center. Thirty-seven students will be performing songs from some of your favorite musicals including “The Sound of Music,” “The King and I,” “Oklahoma,” and “South Pacific.”
     “The talent level on display is truly exceptional,” said Director Brian Hill. “We have more than 30 different soloists during the production, which will showcase the broad talent within our theatre program. With lively choreography and stellar costuming, you will truly feel like you are at a Broadway show.”
     Performances begin Thursday night, Nov. 5, and run through Sunday, Nov. 8. Thursday through Saturday evening performances will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday matinee shows will start at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.
