Bethel University student Patrick Aldrich was chosen by the Alexandria, Va., based accounting firm of Kearney & Company for a staff accountant opportunity that will begin in June 2010.
Aldrich, who hails from Belfast, Tenn., claimed one of the 25 to 30 openings the company had in its internship and new hire program after a company representative visited campus to conduct interviews. Aldrich will graduate from Bethel this December, and will begin work in Virginia in June 2010.
A business administration major with an emphasis in accounting, Aldrich is a four-year member of the Bethel Wildcat baseball team where he currently serves as a student assistant. He is also a three-year member of Arete service organization where he serves as treasurer.
Established in 1985, Kearney & Company Certified Public Accountants and Consultants is headquartered in Alexandria, Va., and has offices in Atlanta and O Fallon, Ill. The company exclusively serves the federal government, and its practice areas include: financial services, CFO/compliance audits, internal controls/A-123 assessments and reviews, program management and IT services.
