The Rev. Perryn Rice, associate pastor of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Cookeville, will be the guest speaker at the 2010 Bethel Christian Youth Festival (BCYF) this weekend on the Bethel campus.

The 2010 Bethel Christian Youth Festival (BCYF) is this weekend, March 26-28, on Bethel University’s McKenzie campus. This year’s theme, “God: Coach of our Lives,” will center around the Bible verse, Hebrews 12:1, which states “Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”
BCYF will be a weekend of inspiration and entertainment led by Bethel students and administrators. Music, theatre, games and technology will be used as part of powerful worship and fellowship events.
The Rev. Perryn Rice, associate pastor of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Cookeville, will be the guest speaker.
Events begin Friday evening, March 26 and end at lunch on Sunday, March 28.
“We’re very excited about this weekend,” said Tina Hodges, director of enrollment at Bethel. “We already have around 150 signed up, and we would love to have even more. It’s not too late to sign up.”
The cost for the event is $45 per person for two nights or $35 per person for one night. This includes accommodations, meals and a BCYF t-shirt. Students should bring a sleeping bag as they will be “camping out” indoors.
