Bethel Praise-Stock is this Weekend

Former NFL quarterback Kevin Eakin

Bethel University’s Wildcat football team and the school’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes organization will be hosting Praise-Stock, a one-night worship event, this Saturday, April 24 at Wildcat Stadium on the school’s McKenzie campus.
“This event was organized with the young student athlete in mind, but it’s appropriate for anyone who wants to come. Everyone is welcome,” said Cliff Barna, Bethel defensive line coach. “Come as you are and take part.”
Kevin Eakin, quarterback with the Alabama Vipers of the American Football League, and wife Shi-Anne, who has had a record deal with Lyric Street Records, will help lead the Praise-Stock event.
The Eakins, will bring their group, The Rock, which is also composed of Alex Nelson, Aaron Abbott, Jared Sanders and Dustin Allison. The Rock helps lead worship at their church, The Rock Family Worship Center in Huntsville, Ala.
Kevin Eakin has also played in the National Football League for the Buffalo Bills and the New York Jets, in the Canadian Football League for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, and in the NFL Europe for the Frankfurt Galaxy.
Praise-Stock, which begins at 7 p.m., is free and open to the public.
