The dedication of the new Ray and Linda Morris Science Complex will be held along with Commencement ceremonies for Bethel University on Saturday, May 8.

Spring commencement for Bethel University will be this Saturday, May 8 on the school’s McKenzie campus with a day full of events including two separate commencement ceremonies and the dedication of the school’s new Ray and Linda Morris Science Complex.
More than 300 individuals are scheduled to graduate with commencement for the College of Liberal Arts beginning at 11 a.m., and with commencement for the College of Professional Studies and the College of Graduate Studies occurring at 4 p.m. Both commencement ceremonies will take place at Wildcat Stadium.
The dedication of the school’s new science complex will be at 1:30 p.m., with a barbecue lunch on the grounds adjacent to the new building beginning just after morning commencement, and a barbecue dinner on the grounds following the 4 p.m. commencement. Open houses will also allow individuals to view the new science complex.
“This is truly a day to celebrate,” said Bethel President Bob Prosser, “I invite everyone to join us for food and fellowship, and I encourage each individual to come and see our new science facility. This will also be a day when we publicly thank those who have contributed so generously to this building project.”
Janet Ayers, president of the Ayers Foundation, will be the commencement speaker for both ceremonies.
