Bethel University’s annual summer reading program held its second session on Tuesday, June 8. Here, Faith Corbin of McKenzie took part in helping to imagine the group’s own children’s story. Once a ball of yarn was tossed to a child, he or she would continue the story. The group also played outdoor games and had an arts and crafts time. Summer Reading Program sessions will continue each Tuesday throughout the month of June. The program is being sponsored by the Bethel University library and is open to children through fourth grade. Each session is from 9 a.m. until noon in the Bethel library (Burroughs Learning Center) on the school’s McKenzie campus. Registration occurs at the beginning of each session.
