Bethel Summer Reading Program Concludes

Bethel University’s annual summer reading program concluded on Tuesday, June 29 with a showing of the movie, “Finding Nemo,” and with an ice cream sundae party. This year’s theme was “Make a Splash” with much of the activities being centered around an undersea theme. Special events this year included a visit from Conductor Jack and from the Mad Scientist.
As part of the program children are also encouraged to read books during the one-month time period. This year, Hannah Powell won first place for the most books read after logging in 100 books. Carson Burke and Angela Thompson tied for second place.
