Bethel University psychology students Alex Emelyanov and Carolina Marulanda presented their individual research findings at the Mid South Psychology Conference (MSPC) held at Christian Brothers University in Memphis Saturday, Feb. 26. Emelyanov, a student from Moscow, Russia, studied how happiness is influenced by materialism and negative attitudes toward society, and Marulanda, from Cali, Columbia, explored parents’ knowledge of childhood depression. The Conference featured undergraduate research presentations from schools around the region, including University of Memphis, Northern Kentucky University, and East Tennessee State.
