Bethel PA Program Granted Continued Accreditation
The Bethel University Physician Assistant Program is proud to announce that at the March meeting, the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) has granted continued accreditation to the Physician Assistant Program sponsored by Bethel University. Continued accreditation is an accreditation status granted when a currently accredited program is in compliance with the ARC-PA Standards.
The ARC-PA is an independent accrediting body authorized to accredit qualified PA educational programs leading to the professional credential, Physician Assistant (PA). Accreditation is a process of quality assurance that determines whether the program meets established standards for function, structure and performance.
The PA program director, Johnna Tanner, states that she is very pleased with the findings of the ARC-PA. The PA program is following its mission of producing competent caring medical providers and the accreditation status is imperative to that mission.
