Bethel Renaissance Theatre Production of Steel Magnolias to be Presented

The Paris Henry County Arts Council will be presenting the Bethel University Renaissance Theatre production of the classic stage play “Steel Magnolias” Sept. 9-10 at the Krider Performing Arts Center in Paris. This heartwarming production includes a cast of six who come together as bosom buddies in this hilarious and gripping story of life, love and loss in a small Louisiana Parish. 
     Tickets for “Steel Magnolias” are $10 for adults and $5 for students and can be purchased at the Arts Council Office, Hair Works (in Paris), Paris Realty, or the Bethel University Renaissance Office in McKenzie. This student-directed production is directed by Henry County High School graduate and Bethel student Travis McLeese. Sponsors of “Steel Magnolias” are Nationwide Insurance, Hair Works, Paris Realty, The Toggery and Paulette’s. This project is also funded under an agreement with the Tennessee Arts Commission.
     Performance times are 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30.
