Department of Music Holds Recital Hour

The Bethel University Department of Music held the first of a number of Recital Hours for the fall 2011 semester Friday, Sept. 23 at noon in the Oasis of the Marrs-Stockton Music Building. Here, student Brad Ray of Selmer, Tenn., presented "Wayfaring Stranger." Ray was accompanied by Lisa Powell. The next recital hour will be at noon on Friday, Oct. 7, an event that will also include a presentation of a commissioned portrait to the Department of Music by the family of L.J. Turner, who served as Choral and Band Director for Bethel during the late 1940s and early 1950s.
