Kiwanis Circle K Service Club Officially Organized at Bethel

Ceremonies were held September 22 at the Vera Lowe Center of Bethel University to recognize the official formation of the Kiwanis Circle K at the school. Around 25 students were inducted during the ceremony. Circle K is the largest and oldest service club for college/university students who are interested in service to others. The Bethel University service club joins over 12,000 members in 17 nations to offer their energy, enthusiasm, and potential service to Bethel University, the community and to children and families in need. Members of the sponsoring McKenzie Kiwanis club officiated with words of thanks and encouragement to the charter members, advisors, and new members as they become active citizens with a lifelong commitment to service. Circle K is part of the “Kiwanis family” of students which includes high school Key Club, middle school Builders Club, and the elementary K-Kids. McKenzie Kiwanis has sponsored and is active with the school clubs offering several opportunities of helping others with their service projects.
