WREN Radio Launched
Bethel University is excited to announce the launch of its own Internet radio station, WREN Radio. The internet radio station will be available at all times bringing listeners news and events from the Bethel University campus and beyond.
“Initially, the WREN is starting off primarily with a music based format,” said Jack Kapanka, Program Director with Bethel University Renaissance. “Over the next few months we will develop programming that will entertain our diverse student body.”
Listeners are encouraged to submit their own "playlists," and requests to WRENmusic@bethelu.edu.
“We want our students to keep in mind that the WREN is their station,” said Kapanka. “They are one click away from music and news that pertains to them.
Kapanka said listeners can start listening by clicking on the "Listen Now" button on the front banner of the Bethel University webpage at www.bethelu.edu. Once on the WREN Radio page, a listener can choose from four delivery methods that are listed in the upper right hand corner of the page. Or click here to launch The WREN.
“This coming August we will interview prospective student DJ's to be the voices of WREN,” Kapanka said. “We look forward to keeping everyone updated about WREN Radio as things progress.”
