Bethel Homecoming 5K to Benefit NBIA

A Bethel University 5K Run to Cure NBIA will be Saturday, Oct. 20 at 9 a.m. Sponsored by the Bethel Physician Assistant Program and the Bethel Cross Country Team, the event is part of Bethel University’s Homecoming 2012 activities. The race begins at the Baker Fieldhouse on Como Street. The event will also end at Baker Fieldhouse. Registration for Bethel students and staff is $15 and all others are $20. Registration can be completed online by going to http://www.bethelu.edu/academics/colleges_and_schools/college_of_health_sciences/nbia2012. Registration includes a t-shirt, a finish line goody bag, and a raffle ticket for the runner's choice of a number of great prizes after the race. Registrants are encouraged to register as soon as possible, and entries submitted before Saturday, Oct. 13, are guaranteed their t-shirt size.

 

    

NBIA is a rare, inherited, neurological movement disorder characterized by the progressive degeneration of the nervous system (neurodegenerative disorder).
