Bethel Holds Relay Kickoff Event

In recognition of October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Bethel has "Painted the Campus Pink” this past week.

Pink activities took place each day and Bethel’s McKenzie campus was lit up pink at night all during the week. After a number of events to raise awareness about breast cancer, Bethel hosted a Relay for Life kickoff event on Thursday, Oct. 4. The kickoff was a precursor to the school's first ever mini Relay for Life event scheduled for April 2013.

Here, luminaries created by Bethel students, faculty and staff lined the lawn around the Bethel Performing Arts Center where the Relay Kickoff took place.
