First Annual Bethel Women's Conference Held

Candise Moody Farmer, founder of Enough Grace Ministries, was the keynote speaker.

On Thursday, April 18, 2013 more than 100 women gathered together in the Vera Low Center for Student Enrichment for the First Annual Bethel University Women’s Conference.

The conference proved to be a wonderful time of worship and encouragement. Candise Moody Farmer, a Bethel graduate, author, and founder of Enough Grace Ministries, was the event’s keynote speaker. She spoke about the hope that can be found in God’s promises given through His word. Bethany Ellis, also a Bethel University graduate, provided the music and Bethel student Dorcas Buzigire shared her personal testimony of how God continues to work out all things for good in her life.

Before the conference, attendees had the opportunity to eat lunch and fellowship as they browsed through tables set up by local vendors. During the conference, those in attendance were encouraged to hold onto the promises of God, no matter what they were going through.

Plans are being made to bring more events like this to Bethel in the future.
