  • On the evenings of April 1 and 2, Bethel University will Light Up Blue to raise awareness for autism and to commemorate World Autism Awareness Day on Saturday, April 2. Bethel University will join prominent buildings around the world – including the Empire State Building and the Sydney Opera House in Australia – by turning their lights blue for the event.
  • The Bethel University Department of English is pleased to announce a reading by acclaimed poet Bill Brown this Thursday, March 31, at 7:30 p.m. in Room 131 of the Dickey Fine Arts Building on the school’s McKenzie campus.

  • Bethel University psychology students Alex Emelyanov and Carolina Marulanda presented their individual research findings at the Mid South Psychology Conference (MSPC) held at Christian Brothers University in Memphis Saturday, Feb. 26.
  • This Thursday and Friday, March 18 and 19, Bethel University students will be joining the efforts of hundreds of thousands of young people all over the nation who will take part in World Vision’s 30-Hour Famine.      During the 30-Hour Famine, participants will go without food and get a taste of what the world’s poorest children and families face every day.
  • Bethel University’s undergraduate education department participated in Read Across America on March 2 (also Dr. Seuss’ birthday) by donning “Cat in the Hat” attire and interacting with and reading to McKenzie preschool, elementary and middle school students.
  • For a half the Bethel Lady Wildcats appeared they would give No 1 ranked Union all they wanted in the TranSouth Conference title game at Union's Fred De Lay Gym. Using a 16-2 run in the first several minutes of the second half, Union reminded all why they have dominated this tournament and still are the team to beat for the national title as they pulled away with that second half run to win 73-49.
