Hicks and McBee are Bethel University Homecoming King and Queen

Bethel students Macio Hicks and Vanesia McBee, both of Memphis, were named Bethel University's Homecoming King and Queen during halftime of Bethel's Homecoming football game on Saturday, Oct. 22. 

Hicks is the son of Takela Hicks and Mister Lemons. He is a member of the Bethel University football team and an active member Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. He will be graduating in December, receiving a Bachelor’s of Arts in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management. After graduation, Hicks plans on pursuing a career in Human Resources.

McBee is the daughter of Shirley and Robert McBee. She is the president of Zeta Nu Theta, a Resident Assistant, a member of Gamma Beta Phi, and a member of the Renaissance choir. She is majoring in Business Administration with an emphasis in Computer Information Systems. After graduation, she has hopes of pursuing a career in Health Administration or of becoming a Web Designer.
