ISAAC EDMONDSON IS SSAC MEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Bethel's Isaac Edmondson was named the SSAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week, presented by BoxOut Sports, the league office announced Monday.

The awards are based on performance for the week of Nov. 27 – Dec. 3.

Isaac Edmondson (Bethel – JR – F – Dickson, Tenn.)

·        This is his second-career honor and first this year

·        Bethel went 2-0 on the week as Edmondson averaged 29 points, 9 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game

·        He poured in 43 points and 13 rebounds v. Brescia (Ky.) and 15 points and five assists v. Martin Methodist (Tenn.). The 43 points is the third-most ever at Bethel

Additional Notes

·        Against the RedHawks, he reached 1,000 career points, becoming the 30th Bethel player to reach that milestone

·        On the year, he averages 20.9 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game

·        He ranks 4th in the NAIA with 230 points and is 2nd in the SSAC with 20.9 points per game and 3rd, shooting 53% from the field
