Bethel’s annual Purple and Gold Game will be this Saturday, April 22 at Wildcat Football Stadium on University Drive in McKenzie.
Pre-game activities, which will be adjacent to the stadium, will begin at 2 p.m. with contests, games, prizes and activities for all members of the family offered. Those who want to set up their own tailgate activities can set up around 2 p.m. A “Wildcat Walk” with Bethel band members, Wildcat cheerleaders and Bethel football players will begin around 3:30 p.m., and will take place along the drive coming into Wildcat Stadium. Food prepared by the Hawg County Cookers, GiGi’s Cupcakes and Nan Nan’s Fried Pies will be available beginning at around 3:30 as well. Kickoff for the game is at 5 p.m.
Admission to the Purple and Gold Game and Hawg County Cookers food will be free and open to the public. Note: Dessert items from GiGi’s and Nan Nan’s as well as concessions at the game will be for purchase.
