The College of Health Sciences invites applications for the position of Physician Assistant Program Director. This is a full-time administrative appointment. The Program Director will ensure ongoing compliance with ARC-PA standards, and supervise and evaluate the Medical Director, faculty and staff. The Program Director will oversee the planning, development, implementation, delivery, documentation and assessment of all components of the program. The Program Director will develop and manage the program’s budget.
The applicant must be a PA or a physician. The applicant must have a minimum of a Master’s degree (Doctorate preferred), experience in PA education and program administration. The applicant must possess a current Tennessee PA license and be NCCPA certified. If the applicant is a physician s/he must hold an unrestricted Tennessee medical license and be certified by an ABMS or AOA specialty board.
