Sandy Louden, our Director of Orientation, Tutoring, Retention & Counseling is available to talk with you or to find someone who can help you through this difficult time. Heather Stone, the Student Development Counselor, is also available to assist students with a variety of issues. Heather is a new addition to our Student Life staff and comes with several years of experience in crisis counseling. She is excited and ready to help students succeed. You can also visit Sandy or Heather at their offices in the Marrs-Stockton Student Center Monday through Friday. If you need to speak to someone in the evening or on the weekend, please contact the local adult crisis line at 1-800-353-9918 or call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255). If it is an emergency, please call security, go to the local emergency room or call 911.

AlcoholScreening.org is a free service of Join Together, a project of the Boston University School of Public Health. AlcoholScreening.org helps individuals assess their own alcohol consumption patterns to determine if their drinking is likely to be harming their health or increasing their risk for future harm. Through education and referral, the site urges those whose drinking is harmful or hazardous to take positive action, and informs all adults who consume alcohol about guidelines and caveats for lower-risk drinking.
Since the launch of AlcoholScreening.org in April 2001, over one million people have completed the screening questionnaire and received scientifically-based feedback on their drinking patterns.
