Study Abroad Program

Study Abroad programs provide week-long and long-term opportunities to travel, learn, and grow with a group of like-minded Bethel students.

Past Short-Term Study Abroad Programs

Past program destinations include Costa Rica, Colombia, Peru, Cuba, and Cambodia. You may find yourself teaching English, staffing an animal rescue center, or even working on an organic coffee farm. Our Global Studies program offers endless opportunities to learn, serve, lead, and love.

Summer Service Learning Programs

Ongoing Opportunities:

Colegio Americano - Colombia- Bethel University has an ongoing partnership with Colegio Americano, a Cumberland Presbyterian-affiliated pre-k through high school located in Cali, Colombia. Participants in the Cali, Colombia Program volunteer at Colegio Americano, primarily as English teachers.

Long-Term Study Abroad Program

Bethel's Long-Term Study Abroad program gives students the time and freedom to truly immerse themselves in a different culture.

Students who are interested in spending a semester or year abroad should contact the Director of Global Studies, Stacie Freeman at least 6 months prior to anticipated departure.
