Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice Studies
Bethel University seeks to fill a full-time permanent faculty position in the Criminal Justice Studies Department of the College of Arts and Sciences beginning in August 2023.
Teaching responsibilities: Twenty-four credit hours of teaching per year (12 in the fall and 12 in the spring). These include a wide range of courses in Criminal Justice and related coursework.
Other responsibilities: These include but are not limited to advising students in a growing discipline, mentoring students, and participating in department, division, and/or college-level committee work at the university.
Qualifications: Minimum JD required. PhD in Criminal Justice or related field encouraged.
Other qualifications: Successful teaching experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to higher education.
