Assistant Professor of Speech and Theatre/Academic Theatre Costume Designer

Bethel University seeks candidates for a non-tenure track position as an Assistant Professor of Speech and Theatre and Academic Theatre Costume Designer. MFA in Theatre required. Responsibilities include: costume design and construction for Academic Theatre performances and activities; maintaining costume room and inventory; teaching speech and theatre classes (including Public Speaking, Costume and Make-up design, and upper level Costuming courses); overseeing theatre practicum students; and advising theatre majors. The position begins January 1, 2024, and the review of applicants will begin immediately

College teaching experience is desirable and a commitment to excellence in teaching and student mentoring is expected. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications.
