Director of the Renaissance Regiment

Purpose of Position and Scope of Responsibility:

Under the Administrative Direction of the Executive Director of Renaissance.

Is responsible for all shifts and responsibilities. Incumbents are subject to overtime and callback as required.

Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the Executive Director of Renaissance to uphold the overall vision of the Renaissance Instrumental Program.

2. Collaborate with other departments and staff in organizing, planning, and following through with the day to day office productivity, including recruiting efforts.

3. Ability to teach parts and arrangements, and have knowledge of Music Theory and sight reading.

4. Prepare, organize, and oversee rehearsals, concerts, and all Instrumental Program activities, as well as conducting rehearsals.

5. Oversee the equipment and uniform inventory.

6. Perform related accountabilities/ responsibilities as required or directed.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or 5 Years of Professional or Education Experience

Desired Qualifications

Bachelors in Music Related Field or 5-10 Years of Professional or Educational Experience
