Bethel University has been awarded funding under the American Rescue Plan (ARP), commonly referred to as HEERF III (Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund), that will be allocated directly to students. However, that funding is not yet available to the University at this time.

Once the funding is available, students qualifying for funding will be notified via your Bethel-issued email addresses of the amount of funding they will receive and of the method of disbursement of the funds by the Financial Aid department.

Per the U.S. Department of Education, funds may be used in the following manner:
Emergency financial aid grants may be used by students for any component of their cost of attendance or for emergency costs that arise due to coronavirus, such as tuition, food, housing, health care (including mental health care) or child care. Students determine how they may use their emergency financial aid grant within the allowable uses.
