After being overwhelmed and taking a few moments to gather his thoughts, the champion said, “I am ecstatic for our university and athletic department. We ran a clean and professional campaign. We knew it would not be easy but with the help of our Bethel nation we did it. It is an honor to represent the university, our conference and our fans and supporters.”
