Barfield Baptist Church Worship Leader/Growth and Outreach Director
This role oversees all aspects of the music ministry at Barfield Baptist Church by developing, coordinating, and administering Spirit-led worship services. This position will provide leadership and supervision for the music program and its volunteers, the production volunteers, and the sound/video/lighting/livestream equipment. Additionally, this role is responsible for leading church groth initiatives via effective planning and communications including, but not limited to, social media. This position is key to community outreach with a focus on younger families.

Academic Coordinator, Tennessee Higher Education Initiative West TN
Tennessee Higher Education Initiative (THEI) seeks a full-time Academic Coordinator. The Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day implementation of THEI Academic Programs inside West Tennessee prisons, with substantial car travel on a weekly basis to prison facilities and partnering colleges. Apart from facility travel, the Coordinator’s primary office location can be work-from-home, or THEI’s office in Nashville. Under the direction of the THEI Director of Education Programs, the Academic Coordinator will work closely with the THEI Programs Team, the administration and staff at our partner
prisons, and the points of contact at our partner colleges to facilitate the operation and administration of the THEI college programs. Transitional Programs Coordinator (West TN) Tennessee Higher Education Initiative
THEI seeks a full-time Transitional Programs Coordinator (West TN). The position is primarily remote with support from our Nashville Office. Under the direction of the Director of Transitional Programs (TP), the Transitional Programs Coordinator will work closely with the other members of the THEI Programs team, the administration and staff at our partner prisons, and points of contact at collaborating re-entry service providers to advocate for our students as they prepare to return to their home communities and, in some cases, to continue college post-release. The Transitional Programs Coordinator will serve prison facilities in West TN with monthly visits to their assigned students on their caseload and will also check in regularly with students who have returned home, providing referrals and support services. Must live in West Tennessee.

Hours: Our Afterschool program starts on Wednesday, August 16th and runs every day that SBCSC is in session. Daily schedule is 2:30pm to 6pm. Program students enjoy a variety of fine arts and educational classes such as, music, theatre, dance, and STEM. When SBCSC school is not in session due to holidays, breaks or e-learning days, we also will run School’s Out Day Camp from 7:00am-6:00pm.
