When you choose to support Bethel by making a gift, you bolster the very foundation of the University. Unrestricted gifts are the most flexible type of support, giving Bethel leadership the ability to seize exciting opportunities as they arise and address immediate needs in support of our students and programs.
Gifts to Bethel’s Annual Fund touch all aspects of the University experience, providing immediate and vital support wherever it’s needed most, from student financial aid—the University’s highest priority—to state-of-the-art teaching and technology tools used in classrooms. Help our students thrive and improve the entire campus community each year.
The Alumni Garden provides a physical opportunity to pay tribute to Bethel’s alumni whose lives were impacted during their time here. Located on the McKenzie campus, this beautiful park-like setting contains bricks, park-like benches and limestone plaques engraved with the names of beloved alumni.
Each brick can hold up to 3 lines with 15 characters on each line for a total of 45 characters or spaces. $100
A limestone plaque can hold up to 6 lines with 23 characters on each line for a total of 138 characters or spaces. $400
A limestone bench can hold up to 175 characters engraved on the seat. This will offer a special way to honor the one you love and respect. $3,000
For information on how to participate in the Alumni Garden, please contact Heather Megaw at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 731-352-4044.
Gifts in Recognition
A tribute gift is a meaningful way to convey sympathy to the bereaved, memorialize a loved one, commemorate a special occasion or honor a person’s life and accomplishments. Your gift to Bethel University made in honor or memory of this special person ensures a legacy that extends far into the future.
If you would like Bethel to notify the honoree or a family member directly, please indicate their name and the address of the individual to be notified.
Annual gifts of $100 to $999
Inspired by the founding year of Bethel, the 1842 Society funds our general scholarship programs. United, donors share a significant role in keeping some of our best and brightest students in school and working toward their degree. Your monthly donation of $18.42 may seem like a small amount, but to a deserving student, it means a pathway to a career.
