Bethel Students Attend Music Education Conference

Fourteen Bethel students attended the 64th Annual Tennessee Music Educations Association Conference in Nashville from April 20-22.

From April 20-22, 2023, representatives from Bethel's National Association for Music Educators - Collegiate (CNAfME) chapter attended the 64th Annual Tennessee Music Educators Association Conference in Nashville. In all, 14 Bethel students were in attendance. The students participated in professional development sessions and all-state rehearsals.

"The students had a wonderful time learning new concepts, techniques, and approaches that they will be able to take into their future classrooms," said Dr. Christa Frye, Assistant Professor of Music. "They represented our University at the highest level."

Attending the conference were: Stephen Hollins, Amber Boshers, Jaheim Lee, Zoe Smith, Nicholas Peters, Jonathan Haney, Mikaela Morris, Lillian Neel, Abigail Waldroup, Rebecca Bevis, Chloe Suratt, Kelly Hartley, Joseph Ayala, and Karlee Willis
