Academic Merit Scholarships
All transfer students admitted to in-person programs are considered for Academic Merit Scholarships. These scholarships range from $4,000 to $10,000 and your application for admission serves as the application for these awards.
Students admitted to programs in the College of Professional Studies are not eligible for these awards.
Admitted students with academic credentials that meet or exceed a 3.0 cumulative GPA are considered competitive to receive these awards. Academic Merit Scholarships can be stacked with scholarship offers from either Athletics or the Renaissance program. Loans
Many students use loans to help cover college costs beyond what scholarships and grants provide. If you’re borrowing as a transfer student, you’ll likely use the Federal Direct Loan Program, which offers low-interest subsidized and unsubsidized loans through the U.S. Department of Education. Parents of dependent students can also apply for a Federal Direct PLUS Loan to help with remaining expenses.
