Bethel University’s fall graduation is set for Saturday, Dec. 10, starting at 10 a.m. in Crisp Arena located in the Vera Low Center for Student Enrichment.
Graduates from both the summer and fall semesters will be honored and 350 degrees will be conferred during the ceremony. Each graduate will receive four tickets to the event, and the ceremony will be live streamed on Bethel’s Facebook page.
“We are so excited to welcome these graduates to our over 16,000 active alumni around the world,” said Dr. Walter Butler, president of Bethel University.
Motivational speaker and author Dr. Dale Henry acts as this year’s keynote speaker. Throughout his career, Henry served as an educator, administrator, consultant, and entrepreneur, using his storytelling background to deliver humorous but impactful speeches.
Dr. Wayne Scott, executive vice president, and Cindy Mallard, vice president for the College of Arts and Sciences, expressed their excitement for the Bethel graduates, and noted the hard work and determination that was needed to reach the culmination of their higher education.
Bethel University enters into its 181st year of educational service to the state of Tennessee. With over 75 degrees offered, students are able to expand their knowledge and work towards life goals.
“I have no doubt that these graduates will be huge influences for our world,” said Butler.
